What are the most popular bridesmaid dress styles right now?

Satin is dominating bridesmaid fashion right now — and the silhouette split is columns versus trumpets, with very little else in between.

The styles everyone is wearing

Style 3169 is the most-reached-for dress in the catalog right now: scoop neck, drop basque skirt, spaghetti straps, and pockets — the pockets are a genuine draw, and it comes in 30+ colors. Alfred Sung's D877 is a close second: a streamlined strapless column with a back slit, one of the cleanest shapes in the lineup. D870 goes the other direction — strapless trumpet with a sculptural cuff neckline, more of a statement than a column. D876 adds a removable Watteau train, which gives brides a way to differentiate one or two bridesmaids from the rest without breaking the color story.

Two silhouette families

Columns and slim-fit styles (3169, D877, D876, D891) are what most bridal parties are gravitating toward. Trumpets and fit-and-flare shapes (D870, D872, D868, D794) are the close second — D872's high-neck halter open back in particular has found a strong following. Puff sleeves and dramatic off-shoulder styles, which were everywhere a couple of seasons ago, have mostly given way to cleaner lines.

What to take from this

Structured satin in a clean silhouette is the safe, current choice — it photographs well, coordinates across body types, and won't feel dated quickly. If you want something that reads now without being a risk, a satin column or trumpet is the answer.
