A Wedding in Australia in Scenic New South Wales

Jess and Brendan married at Forest Glen Organic Farm on a beautiful day in New South Wales - a dreamy wedding in Australia.
Delicious Whites, Creams and Mocha
The first thing that hit me about this wedding day was the soft muted colours, the whites and creams used to decorate the venue, for the flowers, for the bridesmaid dresses - enlivened with a soft touch of mocha. The colours echoed the surroundings so completely perfectly.
I loved the groom and his party and the casual yet formal way they dressed. A great theme for the boys; waistcoats, trousers and Converse style trainers. Works so well.
I think the dual tone bridesmaid dresses are perfect. In fact, the bride has dressed her maids in a lacy top, with a full skirt - a nicely individual touch. Also love the trailing ribbons on the bridesmaids' flower posies. (If you like this type of two-tone bridesmaid style, Dessy has a dress that is similar.)
When you're counting the pennies and planning a DIY wedding, it's always good to spot some easy to copy and inexpensive ideas. You'd find the flowers at this wedding (a simple daisy in a glass vase) easy to duplicate and the simple lines of these blooms on your tables would be effective and pretty.
And if chocolate is your thing, then yes, you really can indulge in a chocolate wedding cake.
Plenty more ideas at this wedding in Australia for you to mull over and think about for your own big day. (Enjoy the photography by NGG Studios. ) Australian Wedding via Project Wedding.
