A vintage style real wedding with some DIY touches!
This vintage style wedding is perfection.
You know something. You absolutely don't have to wear a veil when you get married. It may be traditional, but if a veil isn't your cup of tea, then that's fine.
Which is what bride Jo did when she got married to Iain. She has a fabulous, shiny bob so instead she showed it off and wore a dazzling wedding dress with wonderful lace detail.
Iain and Jo were married in Leeds and then transported their guests by Routemaster bus to the reception in Fairburn.
Check out all the vintage touches (the bridesmaids' shoes, the bunting, the colors, the cakes, the wedding favors). Photography is by the talented wedding photographer Mark Dolby and the event was styled by Rachel Chippendale at Simply Vintage. (A good tip - if you'd like a wedding with styling but simply don't have the time, then check out some of the wedding stylists available and see how they can help you.)
To add a touch of quirkiness, put your bridesmaids in mismatched shoes. As long as you follow a color theme the look will work.
Great shot of the bridesmaids' shoes in the bus!
If there's a chill in the air, wrap your maids in a pashmina (Dessy has a rainbow of colors).
A gorgeous glossy bob for the bride, beautifully offset by a wedding bouquet of bright red roses
Remember to get that confetti shot!
If there's a wonderful backdrop, get that in shot too
The red Routemaster bus ties in the red theme to perfection!
