Recap Love, Friendship and Fun with Smilebox

Yesterday Facebook unveiled a Look Back feature that compiles pictures from the social media site into a video that highlights your highs, lows and in-betweens of the last decade. Look Back marks the 10 year anniversary of the world's most popular social media site. Obviously it's always fun to look back to see how far we've come and how many mistakes we've made. This, dare we say, ingenious new feature can be shared and saved. It's set to a generic, but touching melody.

When we heard about Look Back we logged on and viewed the video and it gave us a pretty precious idea for wedding day gift giving. If you're about to walk down the isle then you know that you'll be getting lots of goodies and gifts. But, you'll also have plenty of gifts to give. It's typical for the bride and groom to exchange gifts on the wedding day and both bridesmaids and groomsmen receive a little something special from the bride a groom. It's also customary for guests to get a small gift, although it's no longer considered a necessity... So what's all this talk of gift giving when we started out talking about Look Back? Well the picture montage gave us quite the idea. What better gift to give than something that is personal, thoughtful, touching and precious? So why not give every someone special a picture video to enjoy for years to come?

SmileBox is an online application that let's you upload photos and videos into a pre-designed movie format. You can choose from 100s of templates, set your video to music. The video can be saved and shared via an email link or Facebook. It's also super simple to imbed into a blog post. SmileBox is tried and true... So much so that over 15 million users have used it to compile their memories and milestones.

We also love the idea of using SmileBox to make videos for guests to enjoy following your wedding. Splice videography with stills and add in your wedding day soundtrack for a one-of-a-kind memento of your most momentous day!
