Ways to Tell Mom ‘Thank You’ on Your Wedding Day

Finding the perfect gift for your mother and your future-husband's mother can be tricky and it should be special. Since these are two women who raised you and your groom into the people you are today, it is important to thank them in a meaningful way, on your wedding day.

Here are some ideas I thought might be nice for both of the mothers:

Framed Memories

Put two photos or a collage of photos into a beautiful frame that has sentimental writing letting both of your mothers know how much they mean to you. I would also recommend having a scrapbook made with some of memories and images with Mom.

Make Her Sparkle

A piece of jewelry like a charm bracelet or locket necklaces, are two very nice choices for both mothers.

Give Her an Experience

A nice way to tell your mothers thank you, is by giving them a memorable experience. What woman doesn't like being pampered? Set up a day at the spa where she can get a variety of services. If that isn't their thing, get them tickets to a play or musical. Is there somewhere they each have wanted to go, but haven't? Set up day trips for your mothers they will surely enjoy.

For the Techy Mothers

Has she ever wanted an Apple iPad or an Amazon Kindle? This is a great way to say thank you especially with tech savvy mothers. If an iPad or Kindle aren't what either of them want, why not a digital camera? They will need it just in time for all the special moments in the future.

All of Her Favorite Things

Create a basket of her favorite things, include a letter from you, and have your future husband do the same. This may bring them to tears.
