Today I bring you Amanda and Garrett and their real wedding. I'm always intrigued to know what brought couples together and when they decided to tie the knot. So here's the info ..

Here's their Q and A session. How they met, how they knew they were meant to be together and how he proposed!

1. How did you two meet? Amanda: "Garrett and I met through an online dating website. I had just moved a couple of months prior and was only hoping to make some friends and get to know the city better. In one of his emails, he shared a story about a trip to his friend's farm and how a cow licked his hand. I thought, "okay, if animals love him, then he's got to a be a good guy. I'll give him a chance."

2. When did you first know he/she was the one? Was there something he/she did? Amanda: "We had been dating for about four months, when we went to South Carolina to meet his parents. It was such a fun trip! I was able to see a whole new side of him with his family - I could really see the love that he has for each person, which helped validate his character."

3. Tell me all about the proposal! Did you see it coming? How long was it in the planning? How did you feel? Nervous, excited, freaking out? Garrett! "Haha. I knew of a beautiful water-front area that's very close to my parent's house and I knew she would never see the proposal coming if I took her on a walk with our dogs away from all of our friends that came along for the weekend trip. I guided her to the end of the boat with the dogs next to us and right when I was about to pull the ring out she says, 'You know, I think I'll sit down and put my feet in the water!' I obviously can't propose while she's sitting on the boat dock so I just stood there, patiently, waiting for her to get her act together and let me propose already, geeeez!! She slowly got back to her feet and then I said "Amanda Joy.....(insert meaningful romantic words here)....will you marry me?" She then jumped up and down and said Yes! The walk home was one of the most exhilarating conversations I've ever had. "

Aah. Sigh. And here are some photographs of their big day for you to enjoy!

wedding guest badges Amanda used purple as a colour theme which translated beautifully to these simple guest badges

purple wedding table Here's a simple but effective idea for your tables. Reverse your colour theme. So here you have purple napkins on a white tablecloth

purple wedding table ... And then co-ordinate with a purple cloth in the same colour as the napkins, but with white napkins
