What's April?

To me it's the real promise of Spring. Lighter evenings, warmer breezes, new buds on the trees, bright spring flowers, blossoms on branches.

It might not be so warm in April though - you could have an unseasonably warm day but it's likely to be sunny and cool when the clouds come over.

So how to dress your April wedding day? What colours will work together?

I looked to Nature. Royal blue for your maids to echo the brightness of newly flowering hyacinths. The deep pinks and tangerine oranges of parrot tulips.

And there's not a daffodil in sight - you see you don't have to have yellow as a theme at a spring wedding if you don't want to.

Dress your maids in April shades - mix up the colours or go for a uniform look. Will it be Royal Blue, Firecracker, Clementine or Valentine?
